General Comments About the Boat

From the semi traditional stern where there are two bench seats with lockers underneath for lock keys, pins, fenders and ropes etc.

Walking down the steps you enter the bedroom all fitted out in solid oak. The bed extends to a king sized bed and there are two wardrobes and overhead cupboards above the bed with two large drawers underneath the bed base.

Through the bulkhead door you walk past the bathroom with a full size shower, flush pump out toilet and a hand basin. Heated towel rail and storage under the sink and at the side of the shower.

Next you walk past the dining area which converts into a double bed with storage under the seats. There are two doors separating the dining area from the bedroom to make use of privacy.

You walk into the galley next with black granite worktop and breakfast bar with oak kitchen units, stainless steel double oven and four ring hob. Mixer tap and separate filtered drinking water tap. Under counter fridge with small freezer compartment. Microwave, kettle, toaster and all good kitchen utensils and crockery. The galley area has a double opening side hatch.

Onwards from the galley you walk into the open plan lounge area with sofa bed and a leather reclining chair. Flat screen tv, freeview and DVD player. Multi fuel stove with ample wall and ceiling lights.

The whole of the boat is double glazed and the heating is red diesel.

The open plan layought makes Phoenix feel very spacious. It is lovely and warm all year round.

General comments by vendor

We have been shareholders in Phoenix since February 2016 and have thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful countryside, towns and villages from the tranquility of the canals. it is wonderful to moor in a remote location with friends or family and have a BBQ and a bottle or two of wine but it is equally enjoyable to moor outside a canalside pub and have a bar meal and a few pints before toddling back to the comfort of your own boat.

Although she is 66ft long she is very easy to handle due to having bow thruster.

The double glazing makes a big difference to the heat and hardly gets any condensation.

A pleasure to be inside the boat with its modern open plan appearance.

It will be sad to no longer have our canal holidays to look forward to.
