General Comments About the Boat

This 60’ semi-trad boat has a standard layout with rear bedroom, then separate shower room, galley, L shaped dining area, and front lounge. The boat was built by Colecraft on a 10/6/4 hull with a fit-out by Cut Above Narrowboats

Stern

There is an aft deck with hinged lifting hatch for access to the weed hatch. The cockpit has port and starboard storage lockers and a lifting floor for access to the engine compartment. This also contains a Webasto diesel boiler for the central heating, three domestic service batteries and one engine start battery.

Rear Bedroom

Entering through the aft hatch, which is offset to the starboard side, and descending via three steps you come to the main double bedroom area, with the bed on the port side and the corridor through the boat on the starboard side. Next to the hatch is the switch panel and adjacent to it at the aft end of the bed is a cupboard which contains the electrical equipment and has full length hanging space that can be used for additional storage. There is a radiator in the corridor. Under the bed are the hot water tank and the polypropylene pump-out tank for the toilet. At the forward end of the bed is a full length hanging cupboard and a separate full height cupboard with five spacious shelves.

There is a sliding door separating this area from the remainder of the boat.

WC / Shower Room

Forward of the bedroom is the shower-toilet room which is separated from the corridor by another sliding door. The shower cubicle is tiled and has a thermostatic controller and bi-fold doors. There is an electric macerator toilet and a surface mounted wash basin with mixer tap and cupboard underneath. There is a towel rail heated from the central heating.

Galley

Forward of the shower room is the galley area with the corridor running along the centre line of the boat with work tops and cupboards on both sides. On the port side are the fridge (with freezer compartment), microwave, the sink and drainer, drawers for cutlery, food storage etc. On the starboard side there is an Indesit Washer / Dryer and more cupboards for crockery, glasses, saucepans and food storage. At the forward end of the starboard work surface is the inset gas oven / grill and a four burner hob with glass cover. There is a six bottle wine rack and a Houdini hatch in the ceiling. The sump pump for the shower waste is located under the floor of the aft cupboard on the starboard side.

L Shaped Dinette

Forward of the galley area on the starboard side is the L shaped dining seating with solid Walnut table. The seating area converts to a double bed and has storage underneath. This area can be screened from the rear of the boat by a curtain. The corridor runs through on the port side and contains a radiator. There is another Houdini hatch in the ceiling.

Saloon Area

Forward of the dining area is the spacious saloon which has a radiator on the port side. There are two Wilson dark blue leather reclining captain’s chairs with matching leg rests. General comments by vendor

For those needing school holidays owners may be willing to exchange weeks to accomodate anyone needing such weeks

This is a well-maintained boat with all owners contributing to maintaining the boat to a high standard. An AGM takes place at the end of each year to determine work to be carried out the following year. We have The Pride of York booked in for painting at Barnoldswick in February and March 2025. Depending on when it is finished, there may be a small reduction to each owner's initial allocation in 2025.
A 60 ft Semi-Traditional Narrow Boat built to the highest specifications by York Cabinet maker David Clark. The boat was launched in November 2008.
